KANNADA SANGHA Bahrain will be organizing KANNADA VAIBHAVA - 2011 Mega Program at the Bahrain Cultural Hall, Ministry of Culture & Art, near Bahrain National Museum on 17th December, 2011.
The program will feature Cultural & Dance Troupe from Karnataka. OCEAN KIDS, a 21 years old institution, conducting dance classes in Mangalore and Dubai, which specializes students in western, bollywood and mythological dances will be performing in this event. More than 25,000 children have been trained in this institution since 21 yrs. and have performed in various Indian TV channels including NDTV Imagine, ASIANET, ZEE Kannada, SUVARNA TV, ETV (all 9 Indian languages). They have also performed in top Reality TV shows including - HALLI HUDUGI PETEGE BANDALU and PETE HUDUGI HALLI LIFE, KUNIYONA BARA and special performance in DANCE KARNATAKA DANCE and "JUST DANCE " (DUBAI EDITION), a popular dance reality show judged by famous bollywood actor HRITIK ROSHAN. The two finalists of DANCE INDIA DANCE were the students of OCEAN KIDS. The students of OCEAN KIDS also performed for one month at the last year's DUBAI SHOPPING FESTIVAL, at the Global Village, representing India at the Indian Pavilion. They have also won several awards including 3 awards in KUNIYONA BARA. The main trainer is PRAMOD ALVA - who is a BHARATNATYAM exponent with an experience of 18 yrs.
Our Kannada Sangha artists will also be performing at the above event and will be presenting various dances , a mime show and a fashion show. The title sponsor for this programme is UNITED LAND BANK, BANGALORE, platinum sponsor is SUN GULF GATE COMMERCIAL TRADING (Mr. Nixon Lewis) and main sponsor is MALABAR GOLD. The entry to this Mega Event is free and open for all. There will be an early bird draw amongst the first 100 entrants. The programme will be starting at 5 p.m. sharp and all are requested to attend this event. Enough car parking facility available.
